Enable Conferencing at CME

It’s not like CUCM that you don’t need to have extra care to enable conferencing while using CME. Below tasks are needed while u’re trying to do conferencing at CME:

1. Create Hardware Conference Bridge at CME or somewhere else but registered with CME

This link of my blog will help to do this: https://dreamforccie.wordpress.com/2010/04/01/add-remote-hardware-conference-bridge-with-cucme/

2. Create multi-line Ad-Hoc conference DN on CME

ephone-dn  4  octo-line
number 1004
description *** for Conferencing ***
conference ad-hoc

3. Try a conference with the softkey ‘confrn’, it should get connected at conference with all the parties.

4. Check with the command ‘sh sccp connection’ is it’s using conference bridge just created earlier:
SB#sh sccp connections
